Senator Borah's Bitter Attack on Hitler (Eeceived 25, 8.45 a.m.) ) WASHIN GTON, June 24. Addressing the Senate, Senator A. H. Borah said that an adequate army and navy were needed to protect the United States against possible foes fros within the walls and from with-. out the nation. He denounced, in most bitter tercns, Hitlerism and Fascism. "The Governments of Germany and Italy, ' ' he said, "are carrying on war against the Spanish Government guns. The men which massaered the people at Guernica were furnished by the. German and Italian Governments. "The bases of the principles of Nazism and Fascism are duplicity and deception. There is no law and no liberty in Germany where men and women are hunted like wild beasts. The Senate . passed a 635,000,000 dollars war debt appropriation bilL
