WHAT TO WEAR WHEN TRAVELLING.—The inauguration of the Auckland-New Plymouth-Palmerston North--Wellington air service, supplementing the air services already in existence, raises the question of what to wear when travelling these days. The above study of modern transport, with background of lovely cloud effect, shows a foreground of beautiful fashion. On the left is a travel coat of beige corded tweed. The side, front and back scams are shaped at the waist in a new manner which gives a perfectly tailored line. Extended shoulders, a high cut collar and double breasted buttons are all strong fashion points. On the right is a two-piece suit of imported Rodier cloth; black with a raised angora stripe. The skirt of the coat is cut with an accentuated flare at the back and sides, and a straight fitting front. The suit is worn with an attractive red satin blouses which matches the sucde quill in the hat.
