To Visit New Zealand C0NTESTS IN 'AUSTRAUA SYDNEY, June 10. The New South Wales delegate to the \ustralian Ski Federation, Mr Stuarl Jamieson, received advice yesterday that a team of f'our United States skiers i'rom Dartmouth TJniversity (New Hampshire), would tour New Zealand and Australia within the next few months. The team, which is considered very strong, eomprises Durrance, the Bradley brother, and Loughlin. Durrance is the outf.tanding American downhill aud slalcm rocer. He has held the American charnpicnshipa in both eventp. He was the fce&t American performer in the 1936 winter Olympic Games. The two Bradley brothers are :weli-known Dartmouth skiers, and are good performers in all four branches of the sport. No thing, so far, is known i in Sydnoy of the fourth member of the ■ team, Loughlin, who comes from Con- j necticut. j After the team competes in the North and South Islands of New Zealand, it has been tentatively arranged that it should go immediately to Mount Buller, Victoria, where its members will compete against a Vietorian side in & matcli during the week fro August 9 to 16 This will be followed by a visit to Mount Hotham, where the inter-univer sity competition between Sydney, MeJ'bourne and Tasmania will take place. It is at present arranged that the American team will come to New South Wales on August 23 to compete, as individuals, in the Australian championships, to be held at Charlotte Pass from September 4 to September 11. | During that week, the New Zealand ' team to compete in the inter-dominion imatch against, Australia will arrive at Eosciusko, and negotiations are at present in progress to convert tho interdominion mateh into a triangular contest between Australia, New Zealand and the United States. This will be subject to arrangements with the New Zealand authorities ,and the National Ski Association of America. Every effort will be made by the Australian 'body to hold a triangular match.
