DUNEDIN, Last Night. In the Police Court James Hastings Royce Hampstead, alias James Tipa, aged 27, pleaded guilty , to the theft from a hotel of £53, the property of Roland Romas, a member of the Marcus Revue Company. Romas deposed that when he arriv— ed at the hotel he had £65 in his pockets. When he went t0 bed he hung his trousers behind the door. On going to the theatre later he found the money missing.
