Airmen Held Up Four British aviators were held up at Frankfort-on-Main until the films they had taken of a flight were examined. They were A. H. Increased Revenue Ihe exchequer returns show that the total ordinary revenue amounts to £127,276,724, compared with £115,077,327 at the corresponding date of last year. The largest inereases in tho yield this year are in respeet of estate duties totalling £20,380,000 against £17,650,000 at the corresponding date a year ago and customs duties which, at £48,331,000 compared with £14,773,000 at the same period last year, reflect the higher value of imports in the eurrent year. The total ordinary expencliture is £1SS,053,490, compared with £180,899,154 at the corresponding date of 1936. — Official Wireless.
