WAIPAWA, Last Night. Yesteraay afternoon the Waipawa primary teams travelled to Takapau to play the matches which were postponed last Friday owing to the sodden etate of the Takapau ground. Basketball. — Two good games resulted in a win each, Waipawa A defeafcing Takapau A 11 — 6, while Takapau B balanced this by defeating Waipawa B 10—3. Football. — The Waipawa team overwhelmed Takapau in the baeks and forwards, emerging victors by 40 points to nil. For Waipawa tries were scored by McCleary (4), Maaka (3), Drake (2), Meha (1). Maaka convorted ftve tries.
