Chautemps' Cabinet had been presented to the President and had held its first meeting, the Prime Minister, in an mterview with the Daily Telegraph, said: "I have formed a Ministry of Republicaa Unity to establish financial re-construction with the help of M. Bonnet, now Ambassador at Waahington, who is returning on Tuesday, when the Government wili meet the Chamber." The Cabinet consists of 13 Eadicals, 12 Socialists, 3 members of the Socialist Union and 2 Independent Lefts. M. Chautemps i3 expected to adhere to the main lines of M.
