LABOUR PARTY BALL

The Taradale Town Hall presented a gay ecene last night, when the Taradale branch of the Labour Party held xts annual ball. The gathering was largely attended, and a joyous time was spent on the splendid floor dancing to mus'ic supplied by the New Majestic orchestra. The hall was most attractively decorated in red and white streamers, credit being due to Mr W. Armstrong for the way in which they were arranged. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss Whittington and Mr W. Anderson. An.excdllent eupper was provided, this bedng in the charge of a ladies ' committee. The organising committee is to be complimented upon the funetion, which was an undoubted success.
