RETURNED SOLDIERS' BALL

Large Crowd at Porangahau

PORANGAHAU, This Day. The Porangahau branch of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association held its annual ball in the Porangahau Town Hall on Friday evening. The hall, which was gaily decorated with flags and greenery, was filled to capacity, and the committee expect to clear, a good sum. Music was provided by Anderson's orchestra, and the supper was provided and dispensed by the ladies' committee. Major Clifton and Mr O'Connor made efficient M.O.'s.
