"SIT-DOWN" ILLEGAL
(Received 23, 9.30 a.m.) PHILADELPHIA, June 22. The first ruling by a Federal Court cn a sit-down strike, has been issued by the Circuit Court of Appeals. It declares the sit-down strike to be illegal and order* tho strikers to vacato the hosiery n^ill which they seized. * The workers' seizure of the works has now been declared criminal, and the union has been held to be a violation of the Sherman Act on the ground that it has restrained inter-state commerce.
