WRESTLING
Two Iron Men The success attending Jack Forsgren's matches during the last month has placed him as oue of the most sought after men by the various associations, and in its efforts to obtain h'is appearance with John Spellman on Friday night the H.B.W.A. has had to charter a plane to fly him to Auckland to fulfil an engagement on Saturday night. After his recent decisions over "King Kong" Cox, Stein and Kirilenko, Forsgren has attracted the attention of the big Australian promotors, and it is likely that he will be ieaving shortly for the . commonwealth. There is no doubt about it that Forsgren is one of the biggest drawing oards ever seen in New Zealand, and he will be seen to the best advantage when he exchanges holds with • Spellman, "the iron man of wrestling". Spellman has a distinguished record on both the amateur and professional sides of the game and his display in New Zealand has been of a uniformly high order. His Olympic victory at Paris in 1924 showed that he had mastered the science of the sport. The amateur preliminaries are as follows: — "Lofty" Haffka v. Jack Stewart; J. McOormack v Y. Duncan, Alf Skuddar v G. Drayson, H. Rendle v J. Boyd. Emergency bout: Bob Tutaki v G. Morris.
