On Wednesday nest a bogey round will be played by the members of the Waipawa Golf Club for the president's trophy, co^nmencing at 1 p.m. eharp, Dhe draw being as follows: — Bryant plays Woods; Shackleford plays Edwards; Tickner plays Knob- 1 loch ; Clark plays Bishop ; Rust plays Dwight; Norris plays Orr; Jopson plays Surridge; Dallas plays Petersen; Walker plays Mitchell ; Dick plays Fox; Upton plays Murpky; King plays Jeffery and Holt. Any player not drawu will have a partner arranged at the links. The draw for the Wednesday section for the F.M.T. Cup is as under, the first round to be completed by July 14. Players to arrange own gjames. — Bishop plays Dallas; Knobloch "plays Mitchell; Fox plays Edwards; Walker plays Bryant. On Saturday last a friendly match was played by the Saturday section against the Patangata Club, in which Patangata proved victorious by 7 games to 4 against the men, and 4-} games to 3| against the women. Next Saturday the Takapau Club will visit Waipawa for the annual inter-club match.
