Norsewood "500" Party. A fair number of card entbusiasts attended the Norsewood Women 's Institute's fortnightly "500" card tournament, and a most interesting time was spent. Mrs F. Mortensen won thje ladies' prize, and Mr Nielsen (Makotuku) the gentlemen's. Supper was served at the conclusion of the play. Old Linen Wanted. It was also decided to advertise for tendere for cleaning, the present contract having expired. JLt was resolved to hold a children 's fancy dress dance during August in aid of school funds. A very hearty vote of thanks was aecorded Mr Carruthers for his help with tho boys' football at the seven-a-side contest on King's Birthday. Norsewood Golf. The Norsewood ladies' golf match, postponed from last Wednesday, will be held next Wednesday. The same players will participate.
