(Beeeived 19, 8,45 a,m.) LONDON, June 18. The Times' correspondent interviewed General Franco who was questionod on the possibility of ending the war by negotiations assisted, by foreign mediation. He declnred that he ardently desired the eonelueion of the war, thus sparing Iobs of life and destruction, if secured by a Hationalist victory, Franco added that Britain should ap^ preciate that the immense niajority of Spaniards living in the Bed zone who wer.e suffering from demagogic tyranny, hope for liberation by a Hatj onalist triumph. DJoreover, the Bed Government was responsible for thousands of crimes for which it merita punishment, fConsequently, the only eonelueion we can adjnit is our victory. " ■
