Auckland Cyclist Killed

^ AUCKLAND, This Day. I1 alling under the whoels of a motortruck after he struck a stationary mo-tor-car, John Aislabie, aged 18, of Remuera, was killed iustantly. Aislabie was cycling towards tlie cifcy about 8.30 this morning in a long line of traffic and struck a ear which pulled into the kerb in front of him. Following behind the cyclist waB a loaded motor-truck driven by a Chinese market gardener. A wheel of the truck passed over the youth's body, causing terrible injuries. Spectatora said tbat the aoeident happened in a few swift seconds and that there was no ohance of the driver preventing it.
