Work will he Oegun shortly. 1 ' A Reliable Watch. Five years ago, Mr. A. G. Sudliolz, farmer at Natimuk, New South Wales, lost a wateh which he had had since he was a boy. The council of the Wellington Accliruatisation Society recently examined a specimen of a cross between a domestic Indian Runner aua a wild grey duck. . Young. of Rai Yalley, Marlborough, "we have possessed a flock of crossbred grey and domestic ducks. These ducks, numbering up to 70, feed with our fowls. They are ' of all colours and sizes; there is one pure white. They all fly about the farm as wild ducks. A pure Indian Runner drake left the flock and has lived in the river for the last two years, and has learned to fly with a flock of wild ducks, I would be only too pleas- ( ed to show the flocks to any of your ' society."- ( j Motorist Honoured. servuces in interuational automobile association work in the direetion of interuational travelling, The order is in addition to a recent decoration from Germany of t.he Insignia of Honour, First Class, of the German Red CrosS for h"is work in connection with road safety, and previous honours from Great Britaiq, Austria and Hungary. Founder of the initial office of the association 30 years ago, Sir Stenson Cooke is the foremost authority in automobile association matters dn the world. In addition to his activities in this direetion, he is an accomplished fencer, and represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games dn 1912.
