H.B. Poultry Successes At the Manawatu Poultry aud Pigeon Association's annual show, held in conjunction with the Manawatu A'griculftural and Pastoral Association's Winter Show, Hawke 's Bay exhibitorb were very successful. Thornton, Qive, was first for Minorca hen, second for coekerel, first for pullet, cup for best Minorca young bird, rosebowl for best Minorca pullpt, and cup for best pullet in show, in the f ancy Minorca ciasses, first and third for pullet, and third for cockerel in the utility Minorca section; first for Silver Sebriglxt bantam cockerel, first for pullet, first for black Rosecoxnb bantam pullet, second for cockerel. •Master Garth Thornton gaiued second for cockerel and third for pullet in tho children 's bantam ciasses. Mr. D. McOulloch, Havelock North, was second for Silver Wyandolte hen, lirst for cockerel and third for pullet in the fancy Wyandotte ciasses, and cup for best Wyandotte, also llrs.t for Silver Wyandotte cock, second aud tliird for cockerel in the utility Wyandotte ciasses. Master C. T. Kronk, Napiei-, was first for black red Old English Ganie bantam hen, first for spangled lxen and second for spangled cockerel and cup for best Old English Game bantam; and in moderu game bantams he was lirst for. black red hen, first for pile coek, second for pile pullet and third for pile hen.
