Waipukurau and Dannevirke

WAIPUKURAU, This 'Day. On ThurBday afternoon an interclub match was played on the Maharakeke links, between teams from the Dannevirke Ladies' Golf Club and the Waipukurau Ladies' Club. Following a beautiful moraing, rain set in during the afternoon, making conditions rather unpleasant. The captain,' Miss J. Speedy, welcomed the visitors, and before leaving for home, c Miss Pinckney returned thanks on behalf .of the Dannevirke players. The Waipukurau team won by 15 games Following are the results, Dannevirke players being mentioned first : Mrs. Hapi lost to Miss Tareha. Miss Pinckney won from Miss Main. Mrs. McDermett lost to Mrs. Mackie. Mrs. O'Har'a-Smith lost to Miss Billington. Mrs. Corby lost to Miss E. • Butler. Miss Drummond lost to Mrs. Bchroder. ... . ... - Mrs. Garner lost to Mrs. Tollemache. Mrs. Connell lost to Misb Moorhead. Mrs. Bullock' halved with Miss Schroder. Mrs. Roake lost to Miss Speedy. Mrs. Houlston lost to Mrs. Train. Mrs. Barker lost to Mrs. Heuitt. Mrs. Crooks lost to Mrs. Hobson. Mrs. Ruby lost- to Mrs. Tareha. Mrs. Forsyth lost to Mrs. Eadie. Miss Roberts won from Mrs. Bradley. Miss Nairn lost to Mrs. Coats. Miss Hooper-Smith lost to Miss A. Hobson.
