WAIPUKURAU, This 'Day. On ThurBday afternoon an interclub match was played on the Maharakeke links, between teams from the Dannevirke Ladies' Golf Club and the Waipukurau Ladies' Club. Following a beautiful moraing, rain set in during the afternoon, making conditions rather unpleasant. The captain,' Miss J. Speedy, welcomed the visitors, and before leaving for home, c Miss Pinckney returned thanks on behalf .of the Dannevirke players. The Waipukurau team won by 15 games Following are the results, Dannevirke players being mentioned first : Mrs. Hapi lost to Miss Tareha. Miss Pinckney won from Miss Main.
