Practical Joker at Work (Received 17, 1.'30 p.m.) LONDON, June 16. The members of the House of Comuions were discussing the Factories Bill wlieu they were startled^ by the sound of firq bells. Two fire engines. a fire escape and a water tower daslied into the palace vard, but it was found there was no tire, someone — presumably a practical joker — had rung up the brigade, stating that the House of Commons was on fire.
