(Keceived 17, a.45 a.m.) LONDON, June 16. The Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, Prime Minister of New Zealand, in commenting to a representative of the Australian- Associated Press on the results of the Imperial Conference, emphasised the value of the opportunities it afforded for a frank personal discussion, of which every delegate fully availed himself. New Zealand, he said, would have liked to have seen more empliasis plaoed on raising the standard of living of the peoples of the Empire, in which he was convinced, lay the chief means of improving the international situation and bringing prosperity to the whole world. The British Commonwealth of N.ations should give a lead in this vital matter. The best service that New Zealand could render feo Britain would be to carry out successfully ihe present policy, in. which he was convinced, lay the key to prosperity in New Zealand. He was also emphatic that the raaintenance of a remunerative level for commodity prices was essential for prosperity
