NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY GENEEAL EATES. ^OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a meeting of the above Board, to be holden at the offi.ce of the Board, Browning Street, Napier, on MONDAY, July the 5th, next, at the hour of half past' ten in the forenoon, it is the Eoiid's intention to levy a General Eate on the Eateable property within the Hawke's Bay Eivers Board District, and that as between the several Wards of the said District, the said Eate will be levied on a graduated scale in accordance with the provisions in that behalf of "The Hawke's Bay Eivers Act, 1919" and that sueh xate ahall be on the scale following: — On all rateable property within No. No. 1 Ward: One half (4) of a penny for every pound of unimproved value. ' On all rateable porperty within No. 2 Ward: One and one tenth (1 1-10) of a penny for every pound of unimproved value. Ou all rateable property in No. 3 IVatd. One and one tenth (1 1-10) of a penny for every pound of unimproved value. On all. rateable property within No. 4 Ward: Two fifths (2-5) of a penny for every pound of unimproved value. On all rateable property within No. 5 Ward: Thirteen one hundredths (13-100) of a penny for every pound of unimproved value. The said rate will be for the year begun on the first day of April 1937, and ending on the 31st day of March 1938, and to be payable in one amount on the first day of August next, at the offiee of the Board in Browning Street, Napier. On and after the date of this notice the Valuation Eoll for the said District will be open for inspection at the said office during office hours, that is to say, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on all week days except Satur2T' an.d 011 eaeil Saturday the said office will be- open for two hours only, that is, i'rom 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
