None of the others gave any trouble and they were beaten a .ong way from houiQ Consistenoy Rewarded. (Jonsistelicy received its due reward wbeu Huskie defeated the favourito Lord Val in tbe Campbell Hurdles. In bis two previous stalts at tbe meeting be bad finisbed second and bis success was tbus well deserVed. Huskie was in front over the last fence except when Lord Val, wbo bad been very patiently ridden made a sharp dasb and beuded bim after jumping tbe last fence. Momeutarily it appeared as if Lord Val would wiri coinfortably but Huskie came again in great style under tbe wbip and just guined tbe bonours. Huskie was ridden by J. E. lfergus, wbo earlier won tlie Winter Steeplechase on lrish Comet. Fergus was well in the limelight throughout the meeting, riding tive winners, three secoicls and a tbird. Lord Val was splendidly bandled by F. E. Baker but bis weight steadicd bim just near tbe end. Sandy Dix, wbo was checked when be went up on tbe inside at tbe five furlongs post, made a creditable sbowing for tbird. Modern Maid was tbe only other to finish, Killadar, High Quality, Valpai aLI Prince of Orange all falling.
