Leon Blum, stating simply: "Either yon vote for me or for the banks," The Government demanda authorxty to taka by decrees all tbe necessarv steps to assure the restoration of puhlio confidence and to combat attacks on currency and public credat. The Chamher of Deputies is likely to pass the Bill but the Senate is reluctant to give M. Blum a blank cheque.
