CHRISTCHURCH, Laat Night. j Tho National Bank of New Zealand ;U advjsed from London that the net profit for the year ended March 31 was ;£102,838 to which has to be added £113,959 brought forward from the preivious year. An interim dividend at the 'rate of 4 per cent. per annum frea of income tax paid in January absorbed £40,000. Transferred to the premise8 account, £10,000, and to the pension. and gratuity funds £14,000, left £152,797 available for distribution as follows: Payment of dividend at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum for the halfyear ended March 31, 1937, making '4 per cent. for the year froe of income ■ tax, £40,000; carried forward, £112,797; final dividend, equivalent to £4 18s percent. New Zealand currency.
