Following tho sensational announcoiiient of the dismissal of Conimissionor Mapp, of tlie Salvation Army, in circumstances wliieh appeared unfavourable to the coxnmissioner, the Daily iVfail stated, on May 23, that writs had been issued against General Evangeline Booth and Commissioner McMillan by Miss Peggy Laurie, a London dressmaker, and daughter of a late cominis sioner of the Army.
