The Misscs M. and T. Johnstone, "Motuotaraia," Wanstead, accompanied by Mrs. Veitch, who has been their guest, left 'for Wellington on Sunday. Mrs. Veitch leaves for England at the end of the week. Mrs G. Macdonald, Hastings, is visitmg Wellington. Miss JDorothy Barnott, Kew Plymouth, has accepted a position at Iona College, Havelock North. Mr and Mrs Alan Avery and family, Havelock Nortli, are visiting Christchurch, and are the guesfcs of Mrs Avery 's mother, Mrs Charles Beadel, Merivale lano, Mrs. J. Slrang, senr., of Wellington, is on a visit to Mr. and Mrs. 8. W. Strang, Waipawa. Mrs. T. Carne, Waipawa, who has been ill m Napier for some months, has now recoveied suificiently to enabie her to return home.
