WELLINGTON, Last Night. Ccrtified unllt not only to drive but unfit to walk, Williani Alexander Morris, aged 65, carrier, was sent to gaol for a month by Mr. E. P. Mosley, S.M. Mr. Mosley remarked that he was loath to send a man to gaol but that he had no monoy to pay tlie fiuo. Counsel said that Morris at preseut was on sustenauce. Ho had casual gardening johs for which ho used a truclc. The list of previous convietions, t^ead by Ihe Magistrato, shoAvcd driving offcnccs since 1923. Defendant was prevented from obtaining another driving licenc.e titi 1939.
