STOCK IN WAIKATO

Keen Dairy Saies
(By Telecrarh—
AUCKLAND, June 10. Signs of winter are more evident, but so far no adverse influence on the stock market has resulted. Apart from the minor fluctuations that saies are always subjeet to, general steadiness exists and unless much heavier offerings come forward it should be possible to maintaia this condition. Although outside saies of beef and mutton have been firm at the current levei, the central yards entry in both sections failed to sustain the standards t of the previous week. Dairy saies continue to give satis- I faction. Great interest is manifest I everywhere and no i -atter what the ! oxtent of the eheep cliaiigc over, it has I not robbed the market of competjtors. I V alues tend constantly upward, and as I eaiiier foreeast, all available will be I insufiicient to suppiy the replacements I neeessary. These, during the last few * years, have been cheaply proeured, thus ' making kerd wastage a matter of small consequenee, but a heavier cost, such as seems probabi# this season, must «ause ,eoncem.
