STANDS AT EBBETT PARK

Conditional Approval ' Granted Having been given stands to the approximate value of £25 by the Hawke's Bay Wrestling Association for the purpose of providing seating accommodation at Ebbett Park, the Hastings Basketball Association has made application to the Borough Council for pcrmission to erect the stands on that reserve. a The basketball authorities pointed out that the stands would bp a docided improvement to the amenities of the park, and a plan of the proposed sitc of the stands was submdtted. Permission was granted subjeet to "tbe inspection and approval of the bnildirig inspeetor and also of the "West End Tennis Club, which also has its ■headquarters at the park.
