LEVIN, This Day. . Struck by a taxi on the main highway at Manakau last night, Mrs W. C. Dorset, a resident of that townsliip, received extensive injuries and was taken to the Palmerston North HOspitai in a serious condition. Mrs Dorset was erossing tfie road from the railway station to a dance in front of an almost stationary car and failed to notice the approach of a taxi driven by Mr Henry Allen, of Wellington.
