FUR COATS AND TAILORED SUITS AT NAPIER PARK RACES

Fine* weather favoured the first day of the Napier Park Racing Club's winter meeting yesterday; and being ja general holiday there was a large crowd present. Many fur eoats were to be ser-r.- »:>'! tailored suits and coats weiv much favoured, navy blue and . ■ being the predomjnating colours. toques and tali crowned hats were very popular, and many bright-coloured scarves were worn with costumes. Musicpl ' items were given by the Napier Citizens' Rand at intervals between races, and patrpns enjoyed a very - pleasant afternoon. Noticed among those on the Iawn were;. — Mrg. J. E.
