BROADCASTING FAKE?

Recorded Roars of Lion (Received 9, 10.50 a.m.) CAPETOWN, June .8. The Cape Argus caused a. sensation with allegations of faking South Africa's contribution to the Empire Coronation Day broadcast. The paper states that the roars of a lion from Kruger Park were actually the recorded roars of Samson, a pet lion at Pretoria Zoo. It is also supposed that the speeches by Afrikanes and the speaking of a miner and a Natal sugar planter were broadcast by local men from Capetown.
