12-SIDED THREEPENNY PIECE

Oue of the new 12-sided tlireepenny pieces issued by the Treasury in the Old Counfcry was shown a HeraldTribune representative this morning. The coin, which was sent out to Mr E. M. Fenton, of Havelock North, by his brother ,is one of the first day's issue of the new coins. It is not of quite the same dimensions aR the sixpence, but is very bulky. In colour it it a briglit bronze, and very much like the seldom-seen govereign.
