Sherenden Branch Meeting The June meeting of the Women 's Division was held at " Mrs. G. Mason 's home, Crownthorpe. • There was a good attendance of members, and Mrs. II. Beamish presided over a happy gather--ihg. Apologies were recedved from Mesdames ■ Hildreth Ustick and Butt. It was decided to 'eend a lettei; of congratulation to Mrs. Ward and Mrs.. C. K. Wilson on receiving Birthday I Honours. Members , agreed to send three cot quilts to the Anderson triplets, with the best wishes of the division. An amusing story was read and members suppliod nouns by inserting the names of goods from various shops. 1 A competition, gqessing the leaves from plants in the garden, was won; by Mrs. Boyd, the eonsolation prize going to Mrs. Uddy. Miss J. Mason recited two poems. A delicious afternoon1 tea was* served by Mrs. G. Mason and Misses J. Beamish, J. Mason and - P. - Mason. • The singing of the National Anthem brought a successful meeting to a close.
