ON LICENSED PREMISES
Twelve Napier Convictions Police visits to. three hotels iu the Napier district resulted in 12 convictions for breaches of the licensing regulations being entered by Mr J. Miller, S.M., in the Napier Magistrate's Court this morning. Albert Herbert Jensen, licensee of the Terminus Hotel, was fined £1, with 10/- costs, fdf openiiig his ,premisefe after hours fof the sale of liquor. The barman, Patricli Moroney, was fined £4, with 10/- costs, for assisting the commission of the offence. Arthur Dalton, of Napier, taxi driver, was fined '£l, with 10/- costs, for being found on licensed premises after hours. Reta drake, of Hastings, was fined £l 10/-, with 10/- costs, for being on the Terminus Hotel premises after hours, and Isobel Annie Aves was fined a similar amount for the same offencei Also found on the premises of the Terminus Hotel, Phillis Dixon, Westshore, Was fined £1 10/- with 10/- costs. Roy Muiiro, of Napier, labourer, was fined £1, with 10/- costs, for being found on the Criterion Hotel pfemises after hours, as were Leslie Arthur Krushku, of Tarawera, labourer, Jack KrushkU, of Napier, motor mechanic, and Ivan Hard, of Bay View, laboiireri Found in the yard of the Waverley Hotel, Greenmeadows, Arnold Robert Mercer was fined £1, with 10/- costs.
