United Defeat Watersiders Y.M.C.A. LOSE TO RANGERS Weather conditions were not favourable for good Soccer on Saturday, for, in addition to weather that was positively Arctie in its coldness, the gropnd was somewhat slippery and eaused many attempts to goal being frustrated by faulty kicking. Y.M.C.A. went down to Eangers by 4 goals to 2, and play on the day undoubtedly favour ed the Eangers' more rugged style. It was a good game, and the better team won. United defeated Watersiders by a similar margin of 4 goals to 2, and in this game United got going first and had a tally of two up before Watersiders thought of scoring. From that point tho game was more even, each side kieking a couple of goals, but without altering United 's early lead. Eesults: — Eangers 4 v.
