WAIPUKURAU, Last Nigbt. Tbe following were present at the monthly meeting of the Waipukurau District High School Oommittee, h'eld in the priniary scbool to-night : — Messrs. G. F. Haycock (chairman), F. Sayliss (secretary), J. Blair, V. L. King, T. Spencer, J. A. Chambers, 0. Cassidy, J- White, L. Renner and V. Parsons (headmaster). Tbe headmaster reported that the attendances at both the primary and seoondary departments had been very satisfactory. The primary roll was 378. and the average attendance 362.3, or 95.8 per cent., while the secondary department, with a roll number of 59, had an average attendance of 57.3 or 97 per cent. Mr. Parsons said tha the new infants' playelied had been completed and would be in use next week. The grousds were in good odrer and interschool games had been commenced. A meeting of the milk-in-schools oommittee was arranged for next Wednesday.
