"GRAFT" ALLEGED
Pension For Irish Ex-Official (Received 5, 1.0 p.m.) DUBLIN, June 4. After Cosgrave supporters had denounced it as "graft" and "one of the most disgraeeful episodes in Parliamentary life," the Dail accepted a proposal to grant a pension of £500 a year and a gratuity of £2000 to Mr. Donald Buclcley, formerly a grocer and inn-keeper, whose offiee as GovernorGeneral of the Irish Free State was abolisked last year. Mr. Ruttledge, the Minister of Justiee, said that Mr. Buckley's services in 1916, wlien he was deported for participation in the Irish rebellion, were partially the reason for the proposal. " (
