Forthcoming Concert By . "The Cameo Three" Noxt week's concert at the Oddfellows' Hall will be marked by the. visit to Hastings of a talented trio of musicians, ,the "Cameo Three," of Wellington. This combination features vocai music of a diptinctive type, its ' ' cameas" .being specially written and arrangpd ,by the pianist-composer of the party. . The personnel, each of whom is well known individually, comprises Miss Molly Atkinson, a mezzo-soprano of fine quality and musicianship, W. Roy Hill, one of the leading tenors of New Zealand to-day, and Clement Howe, a sympathetic and able accompanist and direetor. Together they make the Camea Three a happy medium for joyous music. Incidentally each of the three is active at B.M.S. headquarters in Wellington, Miss Atkinson being New Zealand secretary, Mr Hill a member of the council, and Mr Howe a group leader. Reports both from Wellington and from other centres indicate that in style and programme this trio has met with definite approval from discriminating audiences, and Friday • nijght's audienee should not be disappointed. • While in Hawke's Bay the Cameo Throe will visit Woodford House, presenting a complete ehange of programme; and en xoure to Wellington will appear at Palmerston. North. The secretary of the local branch, Miss Gr. Grant, will be pleased to liear of inlending members.
