WELLINGTON, Last Niglit. Young Gildp, the Pilipino, knockco' out Olarrie Rayner, of Blenheim, in the fourteenth round of a professional boxing match at the Town Hall to-night. Gildo did the leading throughout and took the aggressive -from the tentii round onward, kecping up a relentless attack. Gildo had Rayner down for eight in the eleventh, eight in the twelfth, and three times for nine in the thirteentb. Though Rayner fought ganiely ho could not withstand the hurricane attack of the Manila boy and took the COunt for nine twico in the fourteentli. The Blenheim boy went down a third time and made a gamb attempt to riso at nine but fell baek on tlie rdpes and wis counted out.
