Branch Formed at Hatuma (From Our Own Correspondent) HATUMA, Last Night. On Wednesday afternoon a representative gathering of Hatuma residents met at Mrs It. S. Allan's residence, Hatuma, to discuss tlie question of the formation of a Hatuma brancli of tlxe P.W.M.U. Mrs W. R. nutchinson took tlie chair, aud after slio liad outlined the objects of the Union, it was unanimously clpoided to form a Hatuma branch. the foilowing officers being elected: — President. Mrs W. R. Hutehinsou ; vice-prosideufc, Miss E. Alla.ii ; honorarv soerotary. Miss AT. Simmons; t-reasuror, Mrs (}. Willis. It was decided to meet 011 the first ■ Wednesdav in each month. and the ohject of the branch will be to help tbe Maori mission work, principally in the Poverty Bay district.
