NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STRIKE SPECIAL RATE. n 1JOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Napier Harbour Board in pursuance of "The Napier Harbour Board Empowering and Loan Aet 1884/' "The Napier Harbour Board Loan Act 1-892, 3 ' x ' The Napier Harbour Board Loans Enabling Act 1918" and any other Act (if any) under the authority of which the Board has power to make and levy a Special Bate, and for the piu-pose of providing funds to be appiied towards the payment. of the annual charges in respect of the loans raised under the authority of the said Acts respectively intends at a Meeting of the Board to be held in the Napier Borough Council Chambers, Napier, at 10.30 a.m. on the 21st day of Juue 1937 TO LEVY in respect of the Special Eates made as security for the said loans respectively the sum of two elevenths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of ' the Board in such part of the Napier Harbour Rating District as was formerly aituated or being within the boundaries of Hawke 's Bay County but which was added to and made to form part of the East Taupo County by proelamation published |n tho New Zealand Gazette of 20th September 1917 at page 3617 as the same is described in the Second Schedule to the said proelamation — sueh xato to be for period commencing Oetober 1st 1930 and ending September 30th 1937 payable in one payment on August 1st 1937 at the place hereinafter mentioned. The Yaluation Roll of the rateable property of the Board in that part of the Napier Harbour Rating District forming part of the East Taupo County as aforesaid is open for the inspectiQn of all persons interested therein at the offiees of the Hawke 's Bay County Council at Napier duriDg the ordinury business hours of that County Council at which place the rate shall be payable, the said County Council being the agcnt of the Board in the inatter,. DATED at Napier this 2nd day of June, 1937.
