Huge Cost of Administration (British Official "Wireless.) RUGBY, June 2. The accounts of the Metropolitan Police Fund show that the cost of tho force for the year ended March 31 was £98,445,246. In addition to the commissioner, deputy-eommissioner, and four assistant commissioners, the strength of the fcrce on January 1 was six deputy assistant commissioners, 10 chief con-. stables, 35 superintendents, 741 inspectors, 54 junior inspectors, 2,688 sergeants and 15,239 constableS'. The women police strength was one superintendent, three inspectors, 11 sergeants and 60 constables. *
