Addington Market Values

CHEISTCHUECH, Last Night. Entries were smaller than usual at to-day 's weekly Addington market, and in the fat lamb and fat sheep sections they were less than butchers ' xequircments. Fat sheep were dearcr, but fat cattlo were easicr. Btore sheep: A small' yardiug and lambs were back by 2s a head. ,Lwes were slightly easier, but wetVers were unchanged. Station wether lines made from 24s to 26s. Fat sheep: A small yarding of less than 4000, wethers being in short supply. These were bottcr by up to Is 6d, and ewes by 2s a head. Exporters bought light ewes freely. Best wethers made from 36s to 41s, good 30s to 34s, prime medium weights 27s to 29s, and light down to 25s; best ewes 23s to 26s, good 20s to 22s tid, light down to 17s. , Fat cattlo: 540 were ponnod, mostly of indiffierent quality, and values were down by 20s per liead. llest stecrs soJd from £13 to £15 17s (3d, good £11 to £12 10s, inferior down to £8 10s; best heifers £8 to £11, good £6 to £7 10s; best cows to £10 10s, good £5 10s to £7, inferior down to £4. Fat pigs: Porkcrs were unchanged, but baconers were scarcely up to tho rates of last week. Porkers 25s 6d to 51s 6d, average price per lb. 6d to 6^d; baconers 49s 6d to £4 12s 6d, averago price por lb. S'Jd to 6^,d.
