WELIINGTON, Last Night. For & week before the first Eugby test match between New Zealand and South Africa at Wellington on August , 14, the South African team will train in Wairarapa and the New Zealand team at Otaki. An announcement to this effect was made to-night at a I meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Eugby Union by the chairman (Mr S. S. Dean). The chairman announced that it had now .been decided that the test match between New Zealand and South Africa in September be played at Eden Park, Auckland. The match had originally been arranged to be played on the Showgrounds. The Canterbury Union wrote as follows: i 'Referring to your circular letter regarding writing articles for the Press, etc., my eommittee would appreciate your ruling in the case of a!1 member of a club publishing a hook dealing with the game." The letter was considered in eommittee and Mr Dean later explained that so long as a Eugby player or official did not refer to current Eugby, no objection could be taken to his writing a book about the game. Bylaw 46 of the Eugby Football Union j reads: "No member of a eommittee of • a union, and unless engaged in the pro- j fession of journalism, no eommittee- j man of any constituent body or club ] under the jurisdiction of a union or ■ player 'shali write, give information or interview for the Pres's or broadcast on current Eugby football for remuneration. ' ' Mr Dean said the New Zealand Union expectcd this rule to be carried out in its entirety. The following reinstatements were granted:— G. W. Holland, J. Karaka, T. Ewe, L. B. Spra, D. H. Miller (Auckland), V. E. Bailey (Taranaki), S. Poi, N. L. Eobertson, J. Ponga (Hawke's Bay), W. E. Douglas, M. J. Parrist, S. J. L. Bramble (Wellington), F. C. Harper, E, V. Kelburn (Canterbury), E. J. McHugh, E. J. Henkam, H. Dowling, A. D. Logie, L. Martyn, J. W. Dixon.
