Play-Reading Given
Members of the Hastings XVomen's Community Club thoroughly enjoyed a very iuteresting play-readiug which was given by some of their members
I yesterday afternoon under the direction of the circle leader,.Mrs F. Perrin. The play chosen was a tragedy, "Beliold We Live," and gave opportunity for some splendid reading by severn! members of the cost. Those taking part were: Mrs O. C. Moller, Barah Cazenove ; Miss Helen liord, Tono Cazenove ; Mrs George Davios, Jewel Stribling; Mrs W. A. Greer, Hector Stribbling Mrs F. Perrin, Gordon Evers, K.C. ; Mrs H. W. C. Baird, Dame Frances Evers ; Mrs E, Riley, Mrs Gillbard. An interval was made between acts for afternoon tea, which everyone enjoyed Amoug those present were : — Mrs Lt. Pufflet, Mrs Hedley Harvey, Mrs •J. Wright, Mrs H. M. Bishop, Mrs T. Rivers, Mrs Gordon Roach, Mrs H. Gilhertson, Miss Seal, Mrs iiowe (Nelson), Mrs K. E. Crompton, Miss Starey (England), Mrs J.
