MRS. PENDRAY

Mrs A. H. Hayes, Gray's road, Hastings, has received word of the death of her aunt, Mrs Pendray, in Victoria, British Columbia. Mrs Pendray had Idved in Victoria for 60 years, and her topiary gardens were visited by people from all over the world. Her husband, who established large paint works in Victoria, predeceased her. Two sons are left to mourn their loss, Messrs Carl and Herbert Pendray. Rotarians in Napier and Hastings will rememier the latter's visit to Hawke's Bay two years ago.
