Aitken and Parker In Star Attraction FINE AMATEUR BOUTS The star attraction at the Hastings Municipal Theatre to-morrow night will be the 15-round contest between Ralph Aitken, of Wellington and Allen Parker, of Palmerston North. This fight is to be supplemented with a splendid preliminary programme that will ensure patrons receive more than a full measure of return for tbe xeasonable admission cbarges. There is every indic.ation of the bout between Aitken and Parker proving one of the livelist seen in the town for years, as both are out to make good in the hope of securing further contests. Aitken has a very fine record behind hira, and has repeatedly challenged for . the lightweight title, which he is confident of winning if he is given the opportunity of battling for it. Parker is rapidly making has name as a crowd pleaser, and it can be taken for granted that these two boys will give their best. Boxing fans will he interested to know that the Association has arranged for another of the inter-teams contests for the Campbell Cup. The contesting teams will be Waimarama and Te Aute College, and these ten oneminute houts can be relied upon to provide. plenty fun and excitement. In addition there are to be four amateur bouts as follow: — • T. Paynter v., Joe Melvor. Don Hutchins v. N. Wakefield. Rex. Davis v. O. Beale. A. Kit v. Yic Ward. For the benefit of Napier patrons,.
