GUIDES FORM GUARD OF HONOUR AT WEDDING

ennor— boyd St. Paul's Church, , Napier, was heautifuiiy decorated with palms and golden chrysanthemums, the guests ' pews having small bunches of heather and bows of white satin, last evening, for the wedding of Christina Morrison, eldest daraghter of Mr and Mra E. Boyd, of Napier, and John Edward, second son of Mr and Mrs W. T. Ennor, of Napier. The ceremony, which was fully ^■horal. was performed by the Eev. D. N. Macdiarmid, and Mr A. Pacey presided at the organ. The bride was eseorted into thc church by her father. Her gleaming deep ivory satin gown swept into a graeeful, long, -fish-tail train, the full sleeves being inset with tulle and very prettily troilised with bands of eatin. The front of the corsage and skirt was also trimmed with trellised bands of satin, the neeklinq being flnished with a dainty spray of orango blossoms. A gixdle of heavy ivory silk and long uissels was worn, and shoes of the same rleep ivory satin. Her veil of ivory tulle was held to the head with a halo ot natural flowers. She carried a sliower bouquet of creain freesias, gladiold and roses. Miss N. Boyd, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid and her frock was of honey gold etiffened nec worn over taffeta of the same shade. The very full skirt was trimmed with circles of ruehed taffeta, the coatee having puffed sleeves and stitched taffeta lapels. A halo of natural flowers to tone mad6 a very pretty head-dress, and she carried a bouquet of golden freesias and chrysanthemums. Miss Atholie Dunnacbie (Wellington), couein of the bride, was the flower girl, and her frock was similar to that of the bridesmaid. She also wore a halo of natural flowers and her posy was of small golden flowers. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Dick Ennor, brother of the groom. During the signing of the register a solo was sweetly rendered by Mrs Ulric W'illiams. Girl Guides and Poy Scouts formed a guard of honour outeide the church, making an archway of flags and staves. The bride is captain of St. John's Company of Girl Guides and the bridegroom is the district Scout•.master. After the ceremony a reception was held in Blythes Tea Rooms, the tables being very artificially decorated with tc eland poppies in shades of gold and orange. The beautiful three-tier wedding cake, a gift from Mr and Mrs Osler, of Wairoa, was iced iu houeygold shade. The bride 'e mother was wearing a •vandyke tunic frock of browiv ripple silk, the lace sleeves being flnished with large amber buckles. Her model hat was of brown straw with eyfe-veil. Her bouquet was of autumn-shaded c hry san themums. The bridegroom 's mother wore a smart crepe suede ensemble in navy blue, the coat having finger-tip length and her hat was of navy-blue straw floral trimmed. She carried a bouquet of scarlet cyclamen and roses. The bridal couple left by car on a motor tour of the North Island, the bride travelling in a frock of royalblue cloche with high neckline worn under a tweed coat of navy and grcy, smartly trimmed with astrachan to tone. Her small hat was of grey velour and accessories were of navy blue.
