WIREMEN'S EXAMINATIONS
The Electrical Wiremen's Registration Board's examination results, annoimced last ovening, contain the following passes gained by Hawke's Bay candidatos. Tlie examination was held in March, Hawke's Bay sandidates sitting in Napier: — * Writen part: E. H. Fairbrother, A. H. Hnmpler, N. W. Taylor. Practical part: D. S. Lynn, 0. W. J. Roger s. The Cable Makers' Association is again presenting two gold medals, ono to tbe candidate who gained " tbe highest marks in the writen part of tbe examination and one to tbe candidate wbo gained the highest marks iil the practical part. The prize for the writen part was gained by E. H. Fairbrother, of Napier, who secured 86 marks out of a possible 100. The prize for the practical part was gained by J. R. D. Bramley, of Auckland, wbo secured 81 marks out of a possible 100. Three candidates sat in Napier and all passed. Only two of the 18 centres in both islands secured a 100 per cent. pass with their candidates, tliese being i f )ier and Taumarunui. Altoget-her 15H candidates sat and 52 gained passes.
